The department employs 19 full time sworn officers consisting of a Chief, a Deputy Chief of Police, a Lieutenant, 3 Shift Sergeants, an Investigations Sergeant and 12 Patrol Officers. 

The department also employs four full time Dispatchers and 3 part-time Dispatchers that provide dispatching not only for police, but also for the Riverside Fire Department and ambulance. We have a Secretary, a part time Community Service Officer (CSO), 6 part time Crossing Guards and a volunteer Auxiliary Corps of about 10 Officers who assist the department. 

The department has its own evidence technicians, youth officers, elder service officers, crime prevention officers and breath-alcohol officers. We also operate a bicycle patrol in the warmer months.

Police station tours are welcome, but by appointment only please! We can provide guest speakers for your school, business or community functions at no charge.
