Train Station Construction Parking

The Train Station Roof Replacement Project is currently underway. Parking is limited and commuters should park anywhere they can find a legal parking spot.

All Night Parking

Village ordinance 9-1-4 states that no person owning, controlling or operating any vehicle shall cause or permit such vehicle to stand or park on any street or on any public property in the Village between the hours of 2 a.m. and 6 a.m.

Vehicles can be parked overnight in Village Parking Lot Number 1 which is located on the north side of the intersection of Barrypoint Road and Bloomingbank Road. Lot Number 1 is directly west of the Riverside Train Station. Parking in the brown numbered spaces is prohibited. Blue numbered parking spaces are available to the public. The hourly fee for parking in the blue numbered spaces is $0.25 for every hour. There is no charge on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays. A parking payment machine is located by the west side of the train station.

Ordinance 9-1-15

Village ordinance 9-1-15 (J) states that parking is prohibited between 6 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Lawton Road, on the north side from South Delaplaine Road east to the west line of Harlem Avenue.

Village ordinance 9-1-15 (K) states that parking is prohibited between 8 a.m. and 10 a.m. at the following places, except Saturday, Sunday and holidays:
  • On Addison Road, on the north side, from Delaplaine Road to Harlem Avenue.
  • On Forest Avenue, on both sides, from Kimbark Road west to Groveland Avenue.
  • On Lincoln Avenue, on the west side, from Park Place north to Forest Avenue.
  • On Pine Avenue, on both sides from East Avenue to a point approximately 625 feet west thereof.
9-1-15 (L) states that parking or standing is prohibited when school drop off zones are in operation, during the following times 8 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.
