Groveland Avenue Levee Project

The United States Army Corps. of Engineers presented its Groveland Avenue Levee Flood Risk Management Project at the Village Board of Trustees meeting on Thursday, April 5, 2018.  The purpose of the presentation was to outline the scope of the project and to solicit feedback from residents in the impacted area.  The Village Board of Trustees did not take any final action at this meeting. The meeting was an opportunity for affected residents to learn more about the project and to solicit their initial feedback. The village will continue to keep all residents apprised of this discussion as it progresses.

Residents who were unable to attend the meeting can view the meeting online here and may submit comments directly to Fire Chief Matthew Buckley at
