Vacation Rentals and Keeping Hens and Bees

The Village of Riverside has approved a pilot program for 2017 to allow the keeping of hens and beekeeping and has begun accepting applications. The Village will only be issuing 15 licenses for beekeeping and 15 licenses for keeping of hens. The Village has approved the vacation rental ordinance, which is valid for one year from the date issued.
