Hauser Food Drive 2018

Hauser Canned Food Drive

For 47 years, Hauser Jr. High has been the single largest contributor to the Salvation Army's food pantry in the Englewood neighborhood in Chicago. In recent years, Hauser students have also been stocking the Riverside Township Food Pantry each month.  This year, in addition to the annual canned food drive, the Hauser PTO is partnering with Outreach, Inc., an international 501(c)(3) non-profit, to co-host a Feed Our Community Day.” This event will take place on Saturday, April 14 at Hauser Jr. High School.

All are invited to join this community event to help pack tens of thousands of nutritious “Meals of Hope” for hungry children and families. The meals packed, along with the cans collected, will be delivered in late April to the Riverside Township and Salvation Army food pantries.
