Elder Service Program
Riverside Police Department has a unit dedicated to assisting senior citizens of the community.

Explorer Program
Exploring is a worksite-based program and part of the Learning for Life career education program for young men and women who are 14 through 20 years old (and have completed 8th grade).

Police Auxiliary Officers
The Auxiliary Police Corps traces its roots back to World War II. During that war there was a need to replace police officers drafted to serve in the armed forces of our country.

Bike Patrol
Riverside Police Department currently has seven bike patrol officers within the department. These officers go out and patrol the village and respond to calls on specially equipped bicycles that the police department purchased.
