About the Steering Committee
With funding and technical support from the Regional Transportation Authority (RTA), the Village of Riverside is amending its current Zoning Code to promote walkability and support transit-oriented development (TOD) in the Riverside Central Business District. In addition, the TOD Supportive Zoning Code Update will prepare the Harlem Avenue Corridor, within Riverside’s boundaries, for future rapid transit service via Pace’s Pulse initiative. In addition, the TOD Supportive Zoning Code Update will address current development trends, while committing to the preservation of the Village’s National Historic Landmark designation.

The Steering Committee was created to provide input and feedback to the consultant team, review draft documents and provide recommendations as well as participate in public outreach.
