The Village of Riverside is collaborating with Audubon Great Lakes to promote native plantings in the village. Order native plants online and pick them up in downtown Riverside on Saturday, May 19 between 10 am - 1 pm. Plants will be available for pickup in the Green Parking Lot, 63 East Burlington Street (across the street from Riverside Foods), which features a green infrastructure with native plantings. A portion of the funds raised will be donated to local Audubon Chapters to further their mission.
- A selection of common native landscaping plants will also be available for purchase on May 19th.
- If you would like to pre-order to help fundraise but cannot attend the May 19 pick-up date, you can still pre-order and make arrangements to pick your order up in Batavia at Natural Communities or have your plants shipped.
- Deadline for pre-orders is 11:59 pm on April 29, 2018.
