The Village's 2019 street resurfacing projects are scheduled to begin on Herrick Road on April 15. Forest Avenue and Barrypoint Road will also be resurfaced. IDOT has awarded the resurfacing contract to Lindahl Brothers of Bensenville. The initial phase of the project includes sewer manhole repair and specified curb and gutter replacement. Next, the old asphalt surface will be milled and new asphalt will be installed. Watch for detours and signs warning of fresh oil and the work proceeds. The village will send out regular progress reports on these projects to keep the public informed.
