[ARCHIVED] Selborne Road and Parkway Road Construction Updates

Road closed signs detour traffic

The Selborne Road and Parkway Road Paving Project began on Monday, April 20, 2020. The scheduled work involves the full reconstruction of Selborne Road and the resurfacing of Parkway Road. Work will also include drainage structure repairs (where necessary), new curb and gutter (where necessary), new ADA compliant sidewalk ramps, and new sidewalk (as necessary). In areas in which new curb and gutter are being installed, the adjacent area may also be replaced. This includes courtesy walks, driveway aprons and/or sod.

Access to driveways will be available throughout the duration of the project except for if/when your driveway apron or curb in front of your driveway apron is replaced. If this applies to you, a notification will be delivered the day before removals are scheduled with additional information. If a concrete curb and/or your driveway apron is replaced, you will not have access to your driveway for approximately 10 days while the work is completed and the concrete cures. Note: if you live on Selborne, access to all driveways will be affected as all existing curb and gutter will be removed replaced. During this time, on-street parking will be available on the opposite side of the street.
