In May 2016, the Village selected Kenig, Lindgren, O’Hara, Aboona, Inc. (KLOA) as the Village’s traffic engineer and tasked them with completing a Village-Wide Traffic Safety Study. In January 2017, Michael Werthmann of KLOA provided an overview of the data that was collected and began a dialogue with the Village Board regarding the data, observations and recommendations. At the Regular meeting of Village Board of Trustees on April 20th at 7 PM, the Village Board will discuss the Village-Wide Traffic Safety Report. The Village continues to encourage resident comment and participation regarding the study and report.
