Parking Restrictions: Pavement Rejuvenation to take place late Thursday evening, September 8

Road closed signs detour traffic

The Village’s contractor, Professional Paving & Concrete Company, will be applying pavement rejuvenation starting late Thursday night September 8th. Operations will be conducted overnight to limit the impact to residents and commuters. The roads involved will be Bloomingbank Road, Fairbank Road, Barrypoint Road, and Forest Ave. The work will be completed by 6:00 a.m. The project involves spraying a clear liquid sealant on the street which penetrates, rejuvenates, and seals the asphalt surface and binder by replenishing the lost oils and resins to the pavement.

We ask that all vehicles are removed from the roadways of Forest Ave, Barrypoint Rd, Bloomingbank Rd, and Fairbank Rd by 11:00 pm, the night of 9/8, to allow crews to mobilize for the pavement rejuvenation project. No Parking signs will be placed in high traffic areas and cars will be towed if signage is not observed.
