The Village of Riverside requires all businesses to register annually under Section 3-1-2(A) of the Village Code. The application fee is $100 and renews every year on January 1. This requirement includes all home-based businesses. If your home-based business recently received a letter from the Village, please complete the application before May 31, 2023, to avoid late fees. The Village Clerk will mail a business license to your address upon payment.
If desired, the Village can post a brief description and link to your business website or social media page on the Village website’s business directory. In addition, we would gladly add your business information to the Shop Local webpage if you operate a retail business.
