[ARCHIVED] Sarah’s Inn Holiday Gift Project

The Sarah’s Inn Holiday Gift Project is an annual gift drive for families affected by domestic violence.

It ends with a one-day event in which Sarah’s Inn volunteers create a magical holiday gift shop where Sarah’s Inn’s clients can choose gifts for themselves and their children free of charge.

This shop enables the women we serve to make their own decisions about which gifts their children would enjoy in a safe and supportive environment.

Riverside Police Department has partnered with Sarah’s Inn to be a host site to collect gifts and has long been supportive of Sarah’s Inn and to end Domestic Violence in the community.

This year Riverside Police Department collected many gifts, thanks to the generous donations made by the community.

A representative from Sarah’s Inn came in today and picked up all of the donations so they could be brought back and distributed at the gift shop.

Riverside Police Department and Sarah’s Inn offer hearty thanks to all the generous people who made donations to this year’s toy drive!
