The Village has received an Architecture Restoration Award for the restoration of the roof of the Riverside Train Depot. The award was presented to the Village of Riverside during the Frederick Law Olmsted Society's Annual Meeting held in the historic Riverside Train Depot on Friday, January 19, 2018. The Olmsted Society also celebrated their 50th Anniversary and elected new officers for the coming year at the meeting. Village President Benjamin Sells accepted the award from society member Abigail Randall.
