Each week our Adventure Camp and Teen Campers go on field trips throughout the Chicagoland area. The field trip locations can be found on the calendars on your campers webpage. Calendars may change depending on other facilities.

Registration can be done both in person and online. In person registration will be at 43 E. Quincy.
Upon your initial registration, you will pay $15 per week you register which will be subtracted from your amount due. You must pay by the payment deadlines indicated on the registration form, your receipt, and parent packet.

Please be sure to adhere to all payment deadline dates in conjunction with the aligned week of registration. (WKS 1 & 2 = May 16, WKS 3 & 4 = MAY 31, WKS 5 & 6 = JUN 15, WKS 7 & 8 = JUN 30, WKS 9 & 10 = JUL 15) If payment is not received by the deadline, the child(ren) will be removed from the weekly program and no deposits will be refunded. If no waitlist exists, there will be a $10 late fee per week of enrollment. Spots are not guaranteed if you do not pay by the deadline. Please contact the Parks and Recreation office if you need to make arrangements due to emergency/unexpected situations.
There will be no penalties for any camp withdrawals made before May 9, 2022. Any withdrawals made after May 9, 2022 will result in the forfeit of the weekly deposit. After your full payment is made on the deadline, you will not receive a refund for the dates your payment covers. For example, your payment on May 16, 2022 covers week 1 & 2 of camp, if you choose to withdraw your child after the 16th, you will not receive a refund for week 1 & 2. If you withdraw before the payment deadline but after May 9, you will receive your payment less the $15 deposits and adjusted registration fees.If your child needs to be withdrawn from a program, please notify the Riverside Parks & Recreation Department before the payment deadline by emailing (firstname.lastname@example.org) or by calling (708) 442-7025. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please follow up by phone. Failing to do so will result in the loss of refund. We appreciate your cooperation as other children may want to fill open camp spots.
If a week you are interested in enrolling in for summer camp is full you will be placed on a wait list. You will be contacted by Riverside Parks & Recreation Staff if a spot you are interested opens up. You will have 24 hours to accept or deny the available camp spot before it is offered to another camper. You must remit a deposit, or in some cases full payment to hold your spot.
Children will need to pack a lunch daily and bring a water bottle. It is recommended if you attend camp from 9 - 4 to bring a hearty snack as well. Riverside Parks & Recreation reserves the right to make a camp site peanut free for the safety of children.
All forms are due by May 1st. Everyone listed on the Emergency Form is able to pick up your child and must bring a photo ID to pick up. Any changes to forms must be done in person at our office at least 2 business days prior.
Children that take medication must fill out a medication release waiver which can be found in the office. Depending on the type of medication, this form may be the only item required to allow medicinal use at camp.
Please call the office if you have administrative, billing, and or policy or procedure questions. Please call the camp site phone for attendance and day of notification related to your camper.
All forms are available in soft copy form on our website and in hard copy form at our office at 43 E. Quincy. Forms must be turned in by May 1st.
Each camp has specific drop off and pick times and procedures. This information can be found in the parent packet.
Very strict. No exceptions. We understand that your child may still be working on potty training at the time of registration. This is one of the reasons we allow for withdrawal without financial penalty prior to May 9. If by May 9th you are not confident in your child's ability to use the restroom without adult assistance, we recommend cancelling your child's enrollment to avoid any financial loss.
Your WebTrac account will detail your enrollment. Please allow for 3 business days for your registration to appear. You will also receive an email of receipt after initial registration.
